Then Solomon took thirteen years to build his palace. It was made throughout with expensive dressed stone and cedar wood.
He built the portico. It was 75 feet long and 45 feet wide with a porch in front with pillars and a roof.

The King made a large throne of ivory and overlaid it with pure gold. The back of it was rounded. The throne had two armrests with lions beside them.
The throne had six steps with twelve lions, one at the end of each step. Nothing like it had been made in any other kingdom.
